Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? is looking for contestants - how you can apply

If you often find yourself watching quiz shows at home and answering all questions correctly, then now could be your chance to shine.

ITV 's popular game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? is looking for contestants to take part in its new series.

Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson will once again be fronting the show as it remains one of the most popular TV formats across the world.

First airing in 1998, the programme sees a member of the public sit in the hot seat in front of a studio audience.

Will it be you in the hot seat playing for one million pounds? (ITV)

Presenter Jeremy will ask the contestant 15 difficult general knowledge questions in order to win as much money as possible - up to a million pounds.

Fortunately, if the hopeful millionaire gets stuck along the way, they have three lifelines to use; including phone a friend, ask the audience, and the 50/50 option, which cancels out incorrect possible answers.

While it looks extremely difficult to answer all 15 questions correctly, there has been a handful of winners in the past.

Over the course of its whopping 22-year history, it's had five winners manage to reach the top prize of £1m.

But could you add to the list?

If you think you have what it takes then you can apply for the show here.

Applications are open until Monday, March 30 and you must be 18 or over to apply.
