For the fourth consecutive week, Washington is expected to lose to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in Week 8 NFL action. Washington opened as underdogs to the Saints, Chiefs and Packers in the previous three games and lost all three games by double digits.
While Washington isn’t a big underdog on Sunday, the experts at NFL Pickwatch expect the Broncos to use their home-field advantage to send Washington to its fourth consecutive loss.
The expert pickers are in agreement, as 64% of the picks favor the Broncos. In the last two weeks, well over 90% of the expert picks went the way of the Chiefs and Packers.
Some good news for Washington is that some of the top pickers favor Washington in Week 8. Five of the top six experts have Washington winning on Sunday. The top pickers are determined by the percentage of games picked correctly in 2021.
Washington will need a strong performance from its defense to stop its skid at three games.
