Who the Chargers are taking in Day 2 mock drafts

The Chargers came out of the first round with defensive tackle Jerry Tillery. After the selection, Los Angeles will now turn their attention to addressing the offensive line and finding a free safety and cornerback.

General manager Tom Telesco will have picks No. 60 and 91 to use in order to add more talent to the roster.

With that, here’s a glimpse at who L.A. could add in the draft, based on what a few mock drafts are projecting.

Touchdown Wire’s Doug Farrar: OT Yodny Cajuste, West Virginia

“Cajuste might require a year of NFL-level coaching to get his technique in order; right now, he’s kind of all over the place, but at 6’5 and 312 pounds, he shows the ability to envelop edge-rushers when he’s on point.”

Sports Illustrated’s Connor Orr: QB Ryan Finley, WR Emanuel Hall

“Pair Philip Rivers with a kid he spoke to on campus a year ago. Two members of the Wolfpack make it a more comfortable transitional environment for Finley.”

“One of this draft’s most dangerous deep threats, Hall could help fill the Tyrell Williams-shaped hole in Philip Rivers’s heart.”

CBS Sports’ R.J. White: CB Sean Bunting, OT Max Scharping

“The Chargers could very well be in the mix for a corner with this pick after losing Jason Verrett.”

“The Chargers should be in the mix for some help at right tackle at some point on Day 2, and after going corner earlier they end up making Scharping their pick for that purpose.”

USA Today’s Nate Davis: OG Dru Samia: Oklahoma

“Time to get aging Philip Rivers a little more security up the gut.”

NFL Media’s Lance Zierlein: OT Max Scharping, CB Corey Ballentine

Ballentine is a small-school standout, who worked his way up draft boards after a strong Senior Bowl week. Ballentine is a man coverage cornerback with good ball skills and physicality. He could be one of the sneaky selections in this year’s draft.
