You know Christmas is just around the corner when the nights draw in, the festive films are on and the Christmas adverts start appearing on the TV.
John Lewis' annual efforts in the advert stakes are always much-anticipated with this year being now different.
And the high street retailer has finally revealed its festive campaign for 2021.
Titled Unexpected Guest, the two-minute ad stars space traveller Skye crash-landing at the height of festivities in the woods near the home of 14-year-old Nathan.

The teen introduces her to the traditions of eating mince pies, decorating the tree and, to her slight confusion, wearing novelty jumpers.
But as well as the advert itself being a big deal, the song chosen as its soundtrack is just as huge.
Last year's ad featured a new song written and performed by singer Celeste while previous films have featured the voices of Elton John, Ellie Goulding, Elbow and Oasis to name a few.
This Christmas, the honour goes to 20-year-old London singer and songwriter Lola Young.
She has covered Together In Electric Dreams, originally released by Philip Oakey and Giorgio Moroder in 1984, especial for John Lewis' festive ad.
Lola started writing songs aged 11, and attended the prestigious BRIT school which produced stars such as Adele and Amy Winehouse.
After graduation, she soon found herself being managed by industry figureheads Nick Shymansky and Nick Hugget and signed a deal with Island Records, the home of Ariana Grande, Jessie J and Nicki Minaj.
Her debut single Six Feet Under, which was released in 2019, was written by Lola but co-produced by Al Shux who has worked for artists such as Kendrick Lemar and Jay Z.
Last month Lola made her worldwide TV debut with a performance of her new hit Fake on The Late Late Show with James Corden and this week she performed on BBC Two's Later... with Jools Holland.
She has also been touring with Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy.
