Liverpool made it two wins from two in the Premier League after goals from Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane secured Jurgen Klopp's side a 2-0 win over Burnley at Anfield on Saturday.
It has so far been a rather quiet summer transfer window for the Reds with only Ibrahima Konate joining the club from German side RB Leipzig back in May.
So far the focus for the Reds has turned to player retention and offering contract extensions to a number of key players.
Alisson Becker, Fabinho, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk have all committed their long-term futures to the club this summer.
Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson are also understood to be in negotiations with the club over extending their Anfield deals.
But there is expected to be one outgoing transfer in the coming days with Liverpool having agreed a £9.5million deal to sell Xherdan Shaqiri to Lyon.
The Reds have thrashed out a deal with the French side having rejected their initial offer of around £4m, with the Swiss international now in Lyon to complete the deal.
Liverpool had wanted to recoup as much as possible of the £13m they splashed out to take Shaqiri from Stoke City in the summer of 2018.
