Who should I vote for? Our general election quiz will help find which party suits you

The time to cast your vote is nigh - but have you made your final decision yet?

We've had the TV debates, the manifesto launches and the photo opportunities but you'd be forgiven if you're struggling to get through all the 'noise' to find out what the parties actually stand for.

That's where we can help. The Mirror has sifted through the manifestos published by each party - and compared where they stand on the issues affect you.

We've built a bumper personality quiz that will suggest, as a rough approximation, who you should vote for.

Just take yourself through 27 questions picking your favourite policies to find out which party they most resemble.

How did we put the quiz together?

We worked backwards by analysing the 2019 general election manifestos of Labour, the Conservatives, the Lib Dems, the Green Party and the Brexit Party.

We haven't included Plaid Cymru or the SNP, because you can't vote for them in England.

Should I follow what the quiz says?

Maybe. But not necessarily!

Think of this quiz more as a light-hearted game to analyse which policies match up to which party the most.

It focuses on policies, and some people would say that the policies are the most important thing. But others might argue that the personalities of the party leaders are also important. Which leader would make the best Prime Minister?

But we hope you'll share this quiz with your friends as an entertaining, educational way to prepare for polling day.
