Who's won a Golden Globe? Here's the full list of this year's winners

Bohemian Rhapsody took out the night's top award at the Golden Globes in what has been seen as a night of upsets.

It was a mixed bag of winners, with Green Book taking out the most gongs, while Glenn Close won best actress in a drama for The Wife and Rami Malek won best actor for his performance as Freddie Mercury.

Malek ended up dedicating the award to the singer.

"Thank you to Freddie Mercury for giving me the joy of a lifetime," he said.

"This is for you, gorgeous."

A new award created by the Golden Globes in 2019 for services to television. Similar to the Cecil B. De Mille Lifetime Achievement Award, which is awarded for film.

Fittingly the first recipient was its namesake, Carol Burnett.

Jeff Bridges receives the lifetime achievement award for his celebrated career as an actor spanning almost five decades.

He is a five-time Golden Globe nominee, winning in 2010 for best performance by an actor for Crazy Heart.
