As we see the British government being shamed by the public's rush to donate cash for post-tsunami relief efforts (£32m and counting) it would be interesting to compare public vs governmental donations around the world.
So, over to the Newsblog readers' collective brain here: anyone know of a website keeping tabs on the amount of money being raised by public donations, or donated by governments?
