Who plays Duke Shelby in Peaky Blinders and what else has he been in?

Tommy Shelby’s past life might be coming back to haunt him. Tommy’s one night stand with the character Zelda 20 years ago is coming to surface in the Peaky Blinders world.

Zelda had become pregnant but Tommy, ignorant of the pregnancy, had enlisted in the army and left for France. Some 20 years later, the child in question is a gypsy thief who works the fairground but wants more from life.

Who plays Duke Shelby in Peaky Blinders?

Duke Shelby or Erasmus Duke is played by Conrad Khan in the sixth and final series of Peaky Blinders. His character is the son of Tommy Shelby from a one-night stand many years ago.

The character appeared for the first time in episode four, albeit very briefly. He also stars in episodes five and six.

Khan is an up-and-coming actor from London, who has been performing since he was a child. The 22-year-old was born in 2000 to parents from Pakistan and Germany. He has one younger sister of school age.

He is the first actor in his family. His mother teaches fashion history and theory at London’s Central St Martins, while his father works in health policy.

What else has Conrad Khan been in?

In his seven-year career Khan has worked on two big movies, as well as Peaky Blinders.

Khan is mostly known for his role as Tyler in Henry Blake’s 2020 feature film County Lines. He has been nominated for the 2021 BAFTA Rising Star award and multiple awards for his role in County Lines.

Khan also played Eric, the younger version of Chris Hemsworth’s character in The Huntsman: Winter’s War, Dibbs in Black Mirror and Will Chambers in the second series of Baptiste.
