Who Needs A Man When You've Got A Spray Tan returns to TV with a new name and mum

Who Needs A Man When You've Got A Spray tan returned to our TV screens tonight.

The show features a number of single mums from Knowsley showing what it's like to bring children up without a partner.

Channel 5 bosses pulled the documentary series last minute on March 7, after airing just one episode .

However, at a later time of 10pm the programme was back with a new name - Spray Tan Mums : Single & Proud.

It also featured a new addition, Jo, a mum-of-four to twins Isaac and Zachary, one, Gabriel, two and Oliver, 12.

Tonight's show focused on family- and how for these Knowsley mums blood is thicker than water.

Jo, a part-time health care manager, is struggling with her finances and receives bad news when a bill for over £900 comes through her letterbox.

Unsure how she's going to afford it, Jo considers disputing it with the company for a second time.

Luckily, mum Chris is on the scene to help take the pressure off and offers to pay the bill in full.

Meanwhile, Scouse vlogger Danielle is juggling her hectic career as a beautician and social media influencer.

Danielle develops a crush on Kev (Channel 5)

She became enamoured with Kev, a reiki healer, at one point becoming so nervous that she escaped to the toilets to spray air freshener on herself.

And whilst we were treated to lots of laughs, Danielle also opened up about the struggle of looking after children with complex conditions.

In a heartbreaking scene, Marcus tells his mum that he wants to be "a normal kid".

Danielle replied: "You are normal and I don't want you to feel like that...to me and everyone else you are normal, do not worry about it."

Next week, viewers will see how Jo copes balancing the 'terrible twos' and her career.
