Liverpool can be drawn against PSG, Sporting Lisbon, Benfica, Atalanta or Villareal, Inter Milan or Red Bull Salzburg.
Manchester City
The Blues are looking to go one step further this season after losing to Chelsea in last year’s final. They seen off PSG, Red Bull Leipzig and Club Brugge in the group stage to finish top of Group A.
Pep Guardiola’s men can be drawn against Atletico Madrid, Sporting Lisbon, Atalanta or Villareal, Inter Milan, Benfica or Red Bull Salzburg.
Chelsea
The reigning champions of Europe only needed to match Juventus’ result in order to clinch top spot in Group H, but a 3-3 draw away at Zenit St. Petersburg and Juve’s 1-0 home win against Malmo, bumped Chelsea into second place, with some potentially mouth-watering clash to come for Thomas Tuchel’s team.
