President Assad poses no threat to Britain, so why is the west threatening to attack without a UN resolution? Given that there is no immediate threat to our country, parliament should at least be given the opportunity to vote on this. The UK has no right to appoint itself as a world policeman, and given the danger of war against Russia there are considerable dangers in taking on this role.
