Who left Strictly Come Dancing 2021 last week and who is left on the BBC show?

Strictly Come Dancing 2021 is moving quickly towards its ends.

The remaining contestants are preparing to take on two routines on the upcoming semi-final episode in the hopes of making it to next week’s finals.

The show which began with a launch episode on September 18 and live shows on September 25, will air its finale episode one week before Christmas Day on December 18 on BBC One.

Producers have big plans for the festive final episode, which will feature guest appearances from celebs including Gary Barlow, who will be performing his new Christmas single 'How Christmas Is Supposed To Be'.

There are usually three couples in the finals, but four couples remain in the fierce semi-final competition.

With several history-making contestants on this year’s line-up, here are the contestants who are still left on the BBC show as the countdown to the finale continues.

BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker and his professional partner Nadiya Bychkova were the latest couple to leave Strictly.

Despite often finishing in the bottom part of the leader board, Dan had managed to avoid dance-offs in previous weeks, mainly due to viewers' votes.

However, his luck ran out last Sunday as he lost against AJ Odudu's impressive salsa lift.

Following his elimination, Dan described his time on the show as 'an absolutely incredible experience'.

He said: "As I said in the dance-off, I would have put AJ and Kai through as well. It's an entertainment show but it's also a dancing competition, and they were the best by a mile."
