Bake Off returned to our screens last night (Tuesday) with another round of delicious bakes, this time all gluten-free and vegan in theme for the week.
The quarter-finals saw a gutting departure for fans which is to be expected as we feel as though we have come to know the bakers during their time on the show.
It never does get any easier, does it.

Last night we saw the bakers tackle challenging bakes including vegan sausage rolls - which Jurgen jaw-droppingly dropped and still served to Paul and Prue - and ice cream sandwiches.

Fans were gutted to see Lizzie leave the tent last night. A passionate vocalist about living with ADHD, she celebrated it with her final showstopper.
The 28-year old car production operative from Liverpool said when she left the show: "I was so overwhelmed to even get here and now I'm a quarter-finalist." [sic]

Chigs, a 40-year old sales manager from Leicestershire won star baker as he wowed the judges with his efforts
Next week will see the bakers tackle Patisserie week in the semi finals of this year's series.
