Who knows what’s in your home fragrance?

When you smell vanilla, are you transported to a time when you chased the ice cream truck down the street? Does lavender remind you of a cherished trip to the south of France? It’s no secret that scent conjures vivid memories, allow us to re-experience the emotion of a place or event, or tap into thoughts of a loved one.

But what’s in those sprays, candles and oils? One company has committed to making its ingredient list transparent to the consumer. In fact, since launching its whatsinsidescjohnson.com in 2009, SC Johnson – maker of home fragrances like Glade and cleaning products like Scrubbing Bubbles – has continued to lead way in disclosing product-specific ingredients, in an effort to build consumer trust and credibility.
