Who is TikTok boxer Salt Papi and what is his real name?

TikTok's Salt Papi shocked the boxing world over the weekend when he landed a knockout blow on Youtuber Josh Brueckner. The pair were just some of the names on the card at KSI vs. FaZe Temperrr Misfits Boxing event on Saturday night (January 14).

The win over the much bigger Brueckner means Salt Papi remains undefeated, and now even Logan Paul is urging his brother Jake Paul to take him on.

The Youtuber - who created the infamous Prime drink along with KSI - tweeted: "Salt Papi vs. Jake Paul I need it."

But who is Salt Papi and where did he get his nickname from?

Who is Salt Papi?

Salt Papi's real name is Busta Breezie. He is of Filipino descent but grew up in England and became popular thanks to his parody of Turkish butcher, chef and restaurateur Nusret Gokce - aka Salt Bae.

Many will recognise Salt Bae as the man behind the 24 karat golf leaf steaks that went viral a few years back. He is also known for the videos of him sprinkling salt over meals for celebs at his restaurants.

Busta Breezie made his name creating parodies of these videos, racking up millions of views for seasoning his food at popular food places like Nandos, Five Guys and Wetherspoon. The TikToker branded himself 'Salt Papi' and went on to capitalise on his viral content by collaborating with other influencers and taking part in viral dance trends. He has now amassed over 4.7 million followers on the platform.

Salt Papi, who used to refer to himself as a 'chubby junk food lover', has seen an incredible body transformation thanks to his boxing exploits. Saturday's fight was his third boxing match with his first one coming against fellow influencer Hamad Khan in March last year and his second against Andy Warski in August.

His performances in the ring have been so impressive that many have been calling for him to go professional or fight much more skilled influencer boxers. Mexican professional boxer Ryan Garcia praised Salt Papi's skills on the night of the fight and tweeted that he should go pro.
