Group pictures are always problematic – just getting everyone in the frame and facing forward can be difficult. So this photograph of President Obama and other leaders at a UN event is nearly a success – except for the guy whose face is obscured by the president's raised hand. What is Obama doing? Perhaps, as the shutter snapped, someone shouted: "Anyone here called Barack? Phone call for you." Or maybe Obama didn't show and the UN had to use a life-size cutout. In either case you have to feel sorry for the unidentified world leader who thought he'd got a prime spot.
