Who is The Queen on Britain's Got Talent? Act back for semi finals of ITV show

Get ready to sing the National Anthem as The Queen is back on Britain's Got Talent.

It's the BGT semi-finals this week, with a whole host of acts returning to impress judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon and the voting public at home, in the hope of earning a place in the Britain's Got Talent final.

The live shows got going on Monday night and one of the acts in Tuesday's semi is The Queen.

Unfortunately 'The Queen' isn't actually HRH Queen Elizabeth II but looks and sounds an awful lot like her. And, most of us all, is VERY funny.

One of the jokes from a gag-filled audition saw 'The Queen' take a swipe at Alesha, when she says "It is regret I have noted, that recently Britain's Got Talent has suffered enormously.

Britain's Got Talent: Dance group 'Disco Dogs' give judges a shock

"There have been far too many below average variety acts...and I'm not referring to Alesha Dixon."

Will she impress again on Tuesday night?

Who is The Queen on Britain's Got Talent?

The Queen is actually Australian comedian Gerry Connolly.

The 61 year actor is no stranger to TV work. He has been in the industry since the 1980s and even had a show named after himself.

As well as The Queen, he has also done impressions of Prince Charles and Margaret Thatcher.
