Who is the greatest wide receiver in Steelers history?

With the pending departure of Antonio Brown pretty much a foregone conclusion, there has been a lot of speculation about where Brown ranks all-time among Pittsburgh Steelers wide receivers. So we thought we would put it to the fans to decide. If Brown never plays another snap for the Steelers, is he the greatest wide receiver in franchise history?

By the numbers, Hines Ward is the best statistical wide receiver in team history. He has exactly 1,000 career catches and leads the franchise with 12,083 receiving yards. He also has 85 career receiving touchdowns, which is tops among Steelers.

If you are looking at correlating team success with individual success, John Stallworth and Lynn Swann are the standard. Each won four Super Bowls during their time with Pittsburgh, and while their career numbers are lower, the fact they shared the field so much played a part in that. Additionally, Stallworth and Swann made their biggest catches in the biggest games.

Then we come to Brown. He’s trailing Ward in all three major categories but is just a season away from catching him in yards and touchdowns and about a season and a half from topping 1,000 catches. His last six seasons are the best ever by an NFL receiver, with over 100 receptions in each. But Brown has never won a Super Bowl, and he played in only one, when he was a little-used rookie.

Cast your vote and tell us who the best Steelers wideout of all time is.
