In the world of sport Scousers have shined, particularly in football, as Liverpool and Everton's academies crank out some of the sports' most aspiring wonderkids - most recently in the form of Trent Alexander-Arnold, but previously Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard.

We've also been massive on the international boxing and fighting scenes. Paddy the Baddy is just one of the latest in a long line of international superstars hailing from the city who have fought their way to fame.

In the world of cinema we've got some massive names representing the city. Jodie Comer, Stephen Graham and David Morrissey have played their part in some of the biggest shows and movies of recent years.

Then we had the golden age of Liverpool's showbiz generation, with Gerry Marsden from Gerry and the Pacemakers and Jimmy Tarbuck just a few out of the plenty of icons from that era.
