What is his background?

Born in Poissy in France, N’Soki signed for PSG as a youngster and progressed through Les Parisiens’ academy system.

Having played for the French champions at all age groups, including playing in the prestigious UEFA Youth League, he made the step up to their B team in 2017.

He impressed at reserve level and got his first chance to impress for the senior side in December 2017, replacing Marquinhos to make his Ligue 1 debut in a victory over Caen.

What do they say about him?

After playing a part in the Trophee des Champions win, PSG boss Tuchel praised his young team. He said: “It is fantastic. We won 4-0, it is incredible. And we deserved it. We won. We played as a team and I loved that.

“It was a very young team. And the circumstances were very tough, it was very hot.

“But we played with intensity, with a lot of intensity, and we played as a team. It is great.”
