The Strictly Come Dancing announcements are coming through thick and fast, with four announced in less than 24 hours.
But while the first three contestants (David James, Chris Ramsey and EastEnders actress Emma Barton) might be more widely known the fourth celebrity has left some people scratching their heads.
But while she may be unknown to many of us Saffron Barker is almost certain to appeal to a younger audience. The social media star has a huge number of views on YouTube (15million a month) and in 2017 was a best-selling author with Saffron Barker Vs Real Life .
Saffron is not the first YouTuber to take part, with Joe Sugg making it all the way to the final last year.
Speaking on Heart FM today she said: She said: "I am really excited to go on the Strictly journey and am feeling very grateful for the opportunity! I’m looking forward to learning all of the dances, finding out who my partner is, getting to wear the costumes and to just experience this once in a lifetime opportunity."
Originally from Brighton the 19-year-old started her YouTube channel in 2016. Since then she has gone on tour with boyband The Vamps and ammassed more than four million subscribers.
Bookies currently have odds on speculative contestants including names like Jodie Comer, Una Healy, Michelle Visage and Chris Evans.
Radio DJ Evans revealed last year that he had spoken to Strictly show bosses, but more recent reports have suggested he may not be among this year’s line-up.
