Rebekah Vardy will be hoping to make headlines of a very different kind when she makes her debut on Dancing on Ice this weekend.
The coronavirus pandemic has forced a number of changes to be made to the hit ITV show when it makes its much anticipated return for 2021.
Rebekah and a whole host of skating stars are on the Dancing on Ice lineup for this year and they are all hoping to follow in the footsteps of former EastEnders actor Joe Swash who pulled off a shock win against Perri Kiely last year.
Other celebs in action in week 1 include Lady Leshurr and Rufus Hound. Rufus will skate in week one, rather than week two as intended following the injury to pro skater Yebin Mok.
A horror accident in training saw her stabbed in the leg by a skating blade by celeb partner Graham Bell.
She was taken to hospital and is now recovering. Graham was meant to compete in week 1 but has now swapped places with Rufus.
Who is Rebekah Vardy?
Born Rebekah Miranda in 1982, Rebekah is the wife of Leicester City and England striker Jamie Vardy, the man who inspired the famous 'Vardy's on Fire' re-working of Gala's dance anthem Free From Desire.
Rebekah appeared on I'm A Celebrity in 2017, with her stint in the jungle leading to a number of appearances as a guest panellist on Loose Women.
She and Jamie appeared on a few episodes of Celebrity Gogglebox together in 2019, the same year her name became famous all over social media thanks to what quickly became known as the 'WAGatha Christie' scandal.
It all stemmed from that now iconic famous tweet that WAG rival Coleen Rooney shared in 2019 alleging that Rebekah had been leaking stories about her to the press, something she has always denied.
The drama is now the subject of a court case.
Confirming her place on the Dancing on Ice lineup, Rebekah posted on Instagram: "Looking forward to some fun."
