The new series of Dancing on Ice has had its fair share of injuries already and one of those led to Radzi Chinyanganya unexpectedly joining the cast for this year.
The show has been blighted with injury with Michael Barrymore having to pull out completely after breaking his wrist , magician Ben Hanlin suffering an injury in training ahead of last weekend's first live show and famous chat show host Trisha Goddard falling over live on air.
And then came pro Vanessa Baeur's horrific training accident, which saw her smash her face against a wall and meaning she missed last Sunday's show, which saw Radzi make his debut.
But it was Michael's injury that paved the way for Radzi to join this year's
Who is Radzi Chinyanganya?
Radzi, 32, is former Blue Peter presenter and, on joining the show, aid "‘I am thrilled and privileged to be part of the Dancing On Ice 2020 cast.’
He's got form on TV talent shows as he first appeared on screen as a contestant on Gladiators, on which he reached the semi-final.
His TV presenting career began in 2012, when he was a weightlifting correspondent at the London Olympics.
