Who is Rachel Yankey in Soccer Aid 2019?

This year's Soccer Aid has a number of female footballers involved for the first time - including England's Rachel Yankey.

Rachel, 39, won the domestic quadruple playing for Arsenal during her career and was awarded an OBE in 2013 for her services to the women's game.

As well as Arsenal, Rachel also played for Fulham Ladies, Birmingham Ladies and New Jersey Wildcats.

She played 129 times for England and scored 19 goals.

Rachel also featured in the Great Britain team in the London 2012 Olympic Games.

She left Arsenal after 13 years in December 2016 at the end of her contract. She had been manager of Women's Championship team London Bees from February this year until May.

This year's Soccer Aid takes place at Chelsea FC's Stamford Bridge, after previously being held at Manchester United's Old Trafford .

Soccer Aid co-founder Robbie Williams will be back alongside Mo Farah, former footballer Jamie Redknapp, TOWIE star Mark Wright, Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard, fitness coach Joe Wicks and F2 Football Freestyler Jeremy Lynch.

The charity match raises money for Unicef, which helps to support the organisations vital work protecting children in the UK and globally.
