Rachael Blackmore hit the headlines last month when she rode five winners at the Cheltenham Festival to land the top jockey's award.
Now she is looking to become the first female jockey to win the Aintree Grand National when she takes the ride on Minella Times on Saturday.
Owned by JP McManus, Minella Times is an eight-year-old gelding who has been well supported in the build up to this year's big race.
The eight-year-old began his season with a victory at Listowel before two find second place finishes in highly-competitive handicap chases at Leopardstown in December and February.
He he not run since February so he should be a fresh horse for the famous race. Although Blackmore's mount will have to tackle a number of unknowns.

Firstly, he has never raced beyond three miles so whether he has the stamina for this marathon trip is unclear, while he has also never raced over the national fences. It is must be noted, though, that in 17 races under rules, he has never fallen or unseated his rider.
At the time of writing Minella Times is a 10/1 shot for the race and one of the leading contenders according to the bookmakers.
Blackmore has twice rode in the race before but on both occasions her horse failed to complete the gruelling contest.
The best ever finish by a female jockey in the race came in 2012 when Katie Walsh finished third on Seabass for her father Ted Walsh.
