Who is Queen Camilla?

Camilla Parker Bowles, now known as Queen Camilla, is the wife of King Charles III. Camilla was born on July 17, 1947, and was previously married to Andrew Parker Bowles, with whom she has two children.

Camilla and Prince Charles first met in the early 1970s, but their relationship was interrupted when Charles was sent overseas for military service. After Charles married Diana, Princess of Wales, in 1981, he and Camilla continued to have a close relationship, which became a subject of controversy and speculation in the media.

After the death of Princess Diana in 1997, Charles and Camilla gradually became more public about their relationship, and they were married in a civil ceremony in 2005. Camilla's title following her marriage to Charles was officially "The Princess Consort".

Camilla is known for her charity work, particularly in the areas of literacy and osteoporosis, and she is also an avid equestrian. She has become a respected member of the royal family, and she and Charles are often seen together at public events and engagements.
