Who is performing at The Royal Variety Performance 2021? Best of British talent to take to the stage

The Royal Variety Performance will be returning with an all-singing, all-dancing show for 2021.

This will be the 109th year of the performance, making it the world’s longest-running entertainment show.

And the star-studded line-up for the show includes chart-topping singers, comedians, stage shows and music veterans.

All of this will be hosted by comedian Alan Carr , as the show takes place at the Royal Albert Hall in November.

The Royal Variety Performance 2021 will be screened on ITV and ITV Hub in December.

So what do we have to look forward to in this eclectic line-up of British talent?

Who is performing at The Royal Variety Performance 2021?

A number of performers have been confirmed for the Royal Variety Performance 2021, though there are sure to be a few surprises.

Singers

A number of musical stars will be taking to the stage as part of the show at The Royal Albert Hall.

Set to perform in front of the audience, which include members of the Royal Family, so far include award-winning singer Ed Sheeran and international star Sir Rod Stewart.

Chart-topping singer Anne-Marie is also on the line-up as well as electro-pop favourites Years and Years .

Royal favourite James Blunt will be performing some of his greatest hits as well.

Grammy Award winners Gregory Porter and Elvis Costello will be taking to the stage too.

Stage shows

The cast of The Royal Shakespeare’s company Matilda The Musical will be giving a special performance to celebrate 10 years at the West End.

And Cirque du Soleil will take to the stage with a performance from their latest show ‘Luzia’.

The cast of Moulin Rouge The Musical will give an exclusive performance as well, following the success of its Tony Award.

And The Greatest Showman actress Keala Settle will team up with Some Voices choir for a special performance.

America’s Got Talent contestants The Messoudi Brothers will also be giving a breathtaking performance of their hand-to-hand act.

Comedy

The show is hosted by Alan Carr, so it already promises a good deal of laughs.

But there will be plenty of other giggle-worthy treats from some of Britain’s best comedians.

Bill Bailey, Judi Love , Chris McCausland and Josh Widdicombe are all on the line-up for the performance.

The event is staged in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, whose patron is Her Majesty The Queen.

The money raised from the show helps those people from the world of entertainment in need of care and assistance.
