Noel Gallagher will lead the Late Late Show line-up this evening, to kick off the bank holiday weekend in style.
The singer will be speaking to Ryan about today’s big news regarding his eagerly anticipated upcoming greatest hits album.
He will also be giving an exclusive performance with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds of Dead in the Water, a track originally recorded on 2FM.
Ryan told listeners to his RTE Radio One show : "I have very good news for music lovers because tomorrow night we are going to be joined by Noel Gallagher.
"This is great because Noel Gallagher is announcing at 9 o'clock this morning... that he has a new album coming out called Back The Way We Came Volume 1 which is a definitive 18-track greatest hits package from his Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
"We've had Noel Gallagher on the show, not for a while but it'll be great to have him on tomorrow.
"That is Noel Gallagher on the Late Late Show tomorrow performing a song that he recorded here when he was on 2fm special with our friend Damien who was recording the session.
"It's a long story, I'll tell you about it tomorrow but Noel Gallagher did not expect that recording to be kept...but it did and it finds itself home on the Late Late Show tomorrow so tune in for that."

The Dubliner reiterating his promise that frontline workers will be the first to be invited.
Speaking on his RTÉ Radio 1 show on Wednesday, he said: "I had two intriguing meetings yesterday.
"One was a Toy Show meeting to discuss the theme for the next Toy Show in November and that went very well, very exciting and - again - innovative.
"The other meeting, not only about this Friday's Late Late Show but projecting into the future, talks about audiences and I'm still..

"We are all hungry to have an audience back every Friday and I think we are edging closer and closer to it.
"I mean, I don't know, we have been told nothing to that effect, other than just my own hope. But, I just think the way things are going, we could certainly be looking at an audience.
"By hook or by crook, we could have 200. My promise has been and continues to be that the first audience would be frontline workers only, to say thanks. That stands and they are all vaccinated.
"So, we will see how it goes. But that's the plan. It's going to be a fascinating summer, that's for sure."
The Late Late Show hasn't had a live audience since March of 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions.
