Who is on the BBC Question Time special in Kettering?
Emily Thornberry
Thornberry is the Labour MP for Islington South and Finsbury, a seat she has held since 2005. She trained as a barrister, and built her early career representing striking workers and trade unions before entering Parliament.
She was one of Labour's longest-serving shadow cabinet members, covering defence, Brexit, foreign affairs and trade briefs under Jeremy Corbyn and Keir Starmer. In September 2024 she was elected chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, the role she still holds today.
Kevin Hollindrake
Hollindrake is the Conservative MP for Thirsk and Malton, a seat he has held since 2015.
Before politics he co-founded Hunters Estate Agents in 1992, building it into one of the UK's largest estate agency networks with more than 200 branches.
He previously served as minister enterprise, markets and small business and after the Conservatives lost the 2024 General Election, he served as shadow secretary for business and trade, then housing, before being appointed chairman of the Conservative Party in July 2025.
Zia Yusuf
Yusuf is a Scottish businessman who is currently Reform UK's spokesperson for home affairs.
He was Reform UK's largest individual donor, which led to him being appointed chairman in July 2024. He resigned that role in June 2025, returning days later as head of Reform's department of government efficiency, before becoming head of policy from September 2025 to February 2026.
Yusuf has appeared on the BBC panel show several times, and more times than the Green Party as a whole since the start of last year despite Zack Polanski's party having raced up the polls.
Stephanie Flanders
Flanders is a British economist and journalist, currently head of economics and government at Bloomberg News.
She is best known as BBC economics editor (2008–2013), presenting programmes such as Stephanomics and Masters of Money. After the BBC, she became chief market strategist for Europe at JP Morgan (2013–2017) before joining Bloomberg in October 2017.
She was appointed patron of the Institute of Economic Development in February 2025.
