THE BBC is due to broadcast its flagship politics debate show Question Time from Dumfries this evening.
Fiona Bruce will host the programme once again and will be joined by a range of representatives on Thursday night's show.
Newly appointed Economy, Tourism and Transport Secretary Stephen Flynn will feature alongside Greens co-leader Ross Greer, with Labour, Reform UK and the Tories also represented.

When is BBC Question Time on and how can I watch?
The show is scheduled after the 10 o’clock news on BBC One, meaning it is set to start at 10.40pm.
It will also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer and to listen on BBC Sounds from 9pm.

Stephen Flynn
Former SNP Westminster leader Stephen Flynn is appearing for the first time since making the transition from London to taking a seat in Holyrood.
He is also the only new face in John Swinney's Cabinet Secretary roles, taking over the economy, transport and tourism briefs.
Flynn now sits as MSP for Aberdeen Deeside and North Kincardine.
Ross Greer
Green co-leader Greer has been in the post since August 2025 alongside fellow MSP Gillian Mackay. He was elected as the youngest MSP in the Scottish Parliament’s history at the age of 21 in 2016 famously giving a socialist salute when he was sworn in at Holyrood.
Greer joined the Greens aged 15 and served as a member of the Scottish Youth Parliament, before taking up a job with Yes Scotland ahead of the 2014 independence referendum.
Today, his party called on the UK Government to urgently secure the release of two Scots abducted by Israeli forces after a humanitarian aid flotilla to Gaza was intercepted.
Kirsty McNeill
Representing Labour, Scotland Office minister McNeill was elected in 2024 as MP for Midlothian.
Prior to being elected, she was was an executive director at Save the Children and a Downing Street adviser.
Harriet Cross
Cross is the Tory MP for Gordon and Buchan and was elected in 2024. She was was appointed as a junior opposition whip by Kemi Badenoch in which she covers the Home Office, the Scotland Office and the Welsh Office.
Before being elected, Cross worked as a Chartered Rural Surveyor across Aberdeenshire and the Highlands.
Thomas Kerr
Kerr is current Glasgow City councillor and Reform MSP. He also serves as the party's deputy leader.
Glasgow city leader Susan Aitken recently refused to congratulate the new Reform MSP as she lodged a motion describing his party as racist.
