Who is Nicole O'Brien? Cork girl stars in new Netflix show Too Hot to Handle

Netflix's new Love Island-style series Too Hot To Handle has released its first teaser trailer and viewers will be excited to learn there's an Irish contestant in the mix.

The flirty new show will pack 10 sexy hopefuls into a luxury beach-side villa where they will be allowed to get to know each other.

It's been billed as the new Love Island but with one major difference, contestants aren't allowed to kiss or have sex.

There will be no romping under the covers and no steamy kisses in the hot tub or else their cash prize will be slashed.

In a preview clip, viewers were introduced to the swimwear clad singletons much like the Love Island trailers that have come before.

"This retreat is full of the sexiest people in the world," one of the lovelorn reality stars said at the beginning of the clip.

In the video, they all toast their drinks before bouncing into the bedroom of their lavish hew home.

The promise of the romantic setting was quickly dashed by a new rule - there is strictly no kissing or sex in the villa.

"There are conditions to your stay here: no kissing or sex of any kind," an Alexa-style robot announced to the gasps of the contestants.

The show is bound to be a huge hit and there's one Irish lady among the contestants, Nicole O'Brien.

Who is Nicole O'Brien?

Stunning Nicole is from Cork but is now living in the UK, Cork Beo reports.

The self-described 'public figure' and influencer is originally from the county but has been living in Greenwich in London for the past while.

She has almost 9,000 Instagram followers and that number is sure to rocket once Too Hot to Handle hits our screens.

Nicole is among the ten competitors who could become household names over the next month.

Throughout a preview clip, there are were a number of steamy moments teased at where islanders appear on the brink of breaking the rule.

"Everyone's so horny," gushed a bikini babe.

"We need to control ourselves," another contestant added.

*Netflix's Too Hot To Handle is set to kick off on April 17.
