Who is Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse? New judge on panel as live shows begin

While three judges returned for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, one was absent, with Darcy Bussell leaving the BBC show.

She has been replaced by Motsi Mabuse, who joins Craig Revel-Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli as the live shows continue on BBC1 on Saturday night.

Once again fronted by hostesses with the mostest Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, Strictly's lineup for this year include Chris Ramsey , Anneka Rice and David James.

The celebs and their pro partners will hit the floor again in front of a live studio audience and millions of viewers watching at home this weekend and Motsi will once again be giving her opinions and scores

Wonder what Motsi will make of the dances this week?

Who is Motsi Mabuse?

As you might guess from her second name, Motsi is related to Strictly pro Oti Mabuse. She is her older sister.

Motsi, 38, is a South African dancer who has appeared on Let's Dance, the German version of Strictly Come Dancing.

She originally appeared as a professional dancer but later became a judge on the show.

Motsi has also hosted styling show Who Makes Me Beautiful.
