Who is most likely to win Love Island 2022? Latest odds reveal 'comeback of the century'

The Love Island final is nearly upon us as series eight draws to a close after eight dramatic weeks in the villa.

On Monday night (August 1) one couple will be crowned winners of Love Island 2022 and walk out with the £50,000 prize money.

This year's series has seen some dramatic twists and turns, including Jacques' shocking decision to leave the Love Island villa.

Jacques and Paige had been "clear favourites" to win for most of the series, but after his exit the top spot was up for grabs by any of the couples.

However, as the series is coming to an end, the latest data suggests that there's one couple who have become the new favourites to win.

In a surprising turn of events there's also a couple who could make a shocking comeback after their popularity dropped earlier on in the series.

Here’s everything you need to know about who is most likely to win Love Island 2022.

According to Ladbrokes, Davide and Ekin-Su are miles ahead of the other Islanders when it comes to who could win this year's series after they "smashed a betting record overnight".

Currently, their odds are placed at 1/7, which makes them the shortest-priced Islanders that the bookies have ever seen on the show before.

It means that the probability of the pair winning the show is at 87.5%, putting them well ahead of other Islanders.

Davide and Ekin-Su have had an on-and-off romance that has captured the hearts of the nation.

Their relationship had a rocky start when Ekin-Su's head was turned by Jay Younger and she shared a sneaky kiss with him on the terrace.

The kiss led to the pairs famous explosive row that saw Davide call her a "liar" and "actress".

But a spark remained between the fiery couple and they ended up rekindling their romance later on in the series.

In romantic scenes last night Davide professed his love for Ekin-Su as she broke down in emotional tears.

Who else could win Love Island?

There's currently no other couples coming very close to Davide and Ekin-Su's odds, but Love Island fans might be surprised to hear that there is one couple who are quickly climbing up the ranks - Tasha and Andrew.

Tasha and Andrew have been together from day one, after they were paired together by the public.

The couple had a brief split after Casa Amor, when Andrew controversially coupled up with Coco Lodge while Tasha brought back Billy Brown.

The couple eventually reconciled and are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend.

Although the pair are the longest-running couple of the series, they've been unpopular with fans throughout, regularly being voted in the bottom three and risking elimination multiple times.

Previously, fans had labelled them as "boring" and Andrew was called the "Love Island snake" during Casa Amor, but it looks like opinions have been changing.

Adam and Tasha are the second favourites to win according to the Ladbrokes, with odds of 9/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It might go down as one of the comebacks of the century if Andrew finishes anywhere near a podium spot on this year’s Love Island."

If Davide and Ekin-Su weren't in the villa, then Tasha and Andrew's odds would be at 13/8, giving them a 38% chance of winning, but their current odds put there chances at just 10%.

Apati added: "But with Davide and Ekin-Su’s odds now at record lows, the chasing pack are simply making up the numbers at this point.”

Elsewhere, Adam and Paige are next up with odds of 10/1, Gemma and Luca have odds of 14/1 and the couple least likely to win Love Island 2022 is Dami and Indiyah, who's odds have drifted to 20/1.
