He gave Britain's Got Talent judges and viewers an audition they'll never forget and now Magical Bones is a hot tip to take the crown in the Britain's Got Talent final.
In his audition the magician performed a routine incorporating escape artistry with close up magic while telling the story of slave turned magician Henry Box Brown.
Giving a huge seal of approval, judge Simon Cowell, who was missing in action from the semis due to a back injury, said: "The fact that maybe this show will give you the break you've been waiting for is a really fantastic feeling."
He was back in action in the semi finals and wowed the judges again, being their pick to go through to the final.
Magical Bones is up against other BGT finalists including the Sign Along With Us Choir, Jon Courtenay and Steve Royle.

Magical Bones hails from London and his real name is Richard Essien.
The 38-year-old is no stranger to TV, having performed a card trick on This Morning in 2016. He has also appeared on TV series Around The World In 80 Tricks and appeared in the West End in magic show Impossible.
Famous faces Richard has worked with include Madonna, Richard Branson and Alicia Keys.
He has been tweeting along while watching other semi finalists in action over the past few weeks, praising the likes of The Coven and Damien O'Brien for their performances.
