Who is Love Island's Jazmine Nichol? Fans claim Casa Amor bombshell has 'gone missing'

Casa Amor has already been full of drama and intrigue in the Love Island main villa, but watchers were confused as to why one of the new bombshells was nowhere to be seen.

Jazmine Nichol was among five other women when she joined the villa, but she was notably almost entirely absent from Monday and Tuesday nights' episodes.

She is a 21 year old nightclub manager and model from Newcastle, and is reportedly close friends with fellow Geordie Charlotte Crosby, who rose to fame on reality show Geordie Shore.

Charlotte has posted a video of herself watching Love Island on Sunday night as Jazmine entered the villa, shouting “There she is! Little Jazzy Pops”.

She has also been linked to Faith Mullen, a reality personality tipped to be featured on the upcoming Geordie Shore reunion despite being axed from the show after 1 series.

Faith posted on her Instagram page in support of Jazmine, calling her the "nicest and most genuine girls".

Before her entrance, she said she would bring drama to the villa, but on Monday night her only feature was to tell the fellow islanders what her favourite flavour of crisps was.

This is an extra blow for the model, as she was originally meant to be featured on the show alongside former islander Molly-Mae as a late arrival in 2019, who is now the highest earner ever to come out of the show.

The pair previously knew each other as they reportedly competed in beauty pageants since they were teenagers.

The two beauties already clashed when Molly-Mae won the World Teen Supermodel UK crown in 2016 - and Jazmine was her runner-up.

In 2017, Jazmine was also crowned Miss Teen Scotland, and studied government and politics at A-level.

It is not known why she did not appear on the season in 2019.

The model has also worked at Newcastle city centre haunt Chinawhite, as well as modelling for brands like Pink Boutique.

When asked what she would bring to the villa, she said: "A lot of drama but a lot of humour as well. I’m a very funny girl. I get called Donkey from Shrek, that’s my nickname, as that’s my humour. Always coming out with my little one liners."

Jazmine also said she had eyes for Jacques “for his personality” but that her top three choices were Jacques, Jay and Davide".

She added: “Humours the biggest thing for me in a partner. I never go for looks and I don’t have a type at all. It’s definitely who makes me laugh. So Jacques, Jay and then Davide.”

So far, Jacques has only had eyes for Mollie Salmon, a 23-year-old make-up artist and sales adviser in Southampton, and Cheyanne Kerr, 23, a member of cabin crew from Barnsley in South Yorkshire, both of whom he has told he wants to get to know.

This is despite his constant reassurances to Paige in the main villa, who he is currently coupled up with.

Tonight's episode also looks set to cause drama as a first peek released shows Jacques leaning in to kiss another girl.
