Who is Liv Cooke on Soccer Aid 2020?

Liv Cooke is another Soccer Aid newbie who will be taking to the pitch on Sunday night.

The 21-year-old from Preston, Lancs, will line up for the England team at this year's charity football match.

Liv is a professional football freestyler who is the current four-time world record holder, and former world champion having become the women's freestyle football champion at just 17.

She is also making her way in the sporting TV world having signed as a BBC Sports presenter in 2019 with roles on Football Focus and MOTDx.

At the age of 10 Liv joined Preston North End F.C. before signing for Blackburn Rovers F.C. at 14.

But a reoccurring injury meant she stopped playing football in 2015 and instead focused on her career as a professional football freestyler.

It will be a big day for Liv when she heads to the home of her lifelong team Manchester United on Sunday to play in Soccer Aid.

The match will be broadcast live on ITV and sadly no fans will be allowed at the stadium.

The charity match raises money for Unicef, which helps to support the organisations vital work protecting children in the UK and globally.

This year the charity will also recognised the impact coronavirus is having around the world.

As a result, this year, every £1 donated is automatically trebled thanks to the UK Government and Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance.
