Lily Collins is stealing hearts worldwide in new Netflix series Emily in Paris, in which she plays an American expat experiencing the trials and tribulations of life abroad in the French capital.
Emily experiences various dalliances during her time in Paris - however, Collins, 31, has recently locked things in by getting engaged to her partner.
Collins, who is musician Phil Collins’ daughter, revealed in September that she is engaged to Charlie McDowell.

Who is Lily Collins’ fiance Charlie McDowell?
Charlie McDowell is a screenwriter and director known for his debut film The One I Love, which starred Elisabeth Moss and Mark Duplass.
His second film The Discovery was a 2017 sci-fi starring Jason Segel and Rooney Mara, which premiered on Netflix.
He then went on to direct episodes of Dear White People, On Becoming a God in Central Florida and Tales From the Loop.
His upcoming film, Gilded Rage, is about the infamous murder of banker Thomas Gilbert Sr, and it will star Collins, Bill Skarsgård and Christoph Waltz.
McDowell is the son of English actor Malcolm McDowell and American actress Mary Steenburgen.
When did Charlie and Lily meet?
He has been linked to Collins since 2019, and the actress recently revealed she knew she wanted to marry him “the second I met him”.
“I was very surprised as to when and where it would happen, but it was one of those situations where I knew the second that I met him that I wanted to be his wife one day,” Collins said on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
“So, it was just a matter of when, really.”
Collins shared the news of their engagement via Instagram, posting a selfie of the pair kissing while she shows off her engagement ring.
“I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together…” the actress wrote.
McDowell shared another image of Collins posing with her ring.
He wrote: “In a time of uncertainty and darkness you have illuminated my life.
“I will forever cherish my adventure with you.”
