Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx - Protime) is leading the Tour de France Femmes after taking back-to-back victories in the opening two stages.
After winning the sprint on an uphill finish on stage 1, Wiebes took the victory in a more traditional bunch sprint on stage 2, giving her more bonus seconds and extending her lead over those behind her in the general classification.
The Dutch sprinter now holds fourteen second lead over Kim Le Court-Pienaar (AG Insurance-Soudal), with a further two seconds over Demi Vollering (FDJ United - SUEZ) in third place.
She will now wear the maillot jaune as the race heads from Switzerland into France on stage 3, but she may struggle to hold on to it on the hilly stage from Geneva to Poligny.
Wiebes also leads the points classification, extending her lead to 81 points over Kim Le Court-Pienaar (AG Insurance-Soudal) and Elisa Balsamo (Lidl-Trek).
In the mountains classification, Océane Mahé (Ma Petite Entreprise) will wear the maillot à pois for another day, as she continues to lead the standings thanks to her breakaway exploits on the opening stage.
Finally, Paula Blasi (UAE Team L'IMAD) will wear the maillot blanc as the best-placed young rider in the general classification. However, she remains on the same time as Isabella Holmgren (Lidl-Trek) and Antonia Niedermaier (Canyon-SRAM).
