Who is Kelvin Fletcher on Strictly Come Dancing? Jamie Laing's replacement reaches final

So Strictly Come Dancing live shows have now reached the final stage and there's one contestant who's had everyone talking all series.

While you'll have seen him on screen in the launch show, when he was partnered up with Oti Mabuse, Jamie Laing had to withdraw from the competition due to a painful foot injury and was replaced by Kelvin Fletcher.

Kelvin teamed up with Oti to join the other Strictly couples and they wowed both millions of viewers as well as Craig, Shirley, Bruno and new judge Motsi Mabuse with their week 1 routine - a Samba to 'La Vida Es Un Carnaval' by Celia Cruz.

For Movie Week they fared even better with their Charleston to Trip A Little Light Fantastic from Mary Poppins Returns and then they were right at the top again for Halloween Week, where they have pretty much stayed ever since.

Who is Kelvin Fletcher?

If you're an Emmerdale fan, you'll of course recognise 35 year old Kelvin for playing Andy Sugden in the Yorkshire-based ITV soap.

Kelvin played Andy for an incredible 20 years, from 1996 to 2016, during which time he was at the centre of some huge storylines, which helped him win Best Dramatic Performance and Best Actor accolades at the British Soap Awards.

More recently Kelvin was on screen in The Real Full Monty on ITV.
