Who is joining Ryan Tubridy on RTE's Late Late Show tonight? Full line-up with terrific mix

The line-up for the first Late Late Show of 2021 has been revealed, with another impressive list of guests set to join host Ryan Tubridy tonight.

Women's health campaigner Vicky Phelan  will be chatting to Ryan about her upcoming trip to the US for an experimental new treatment, and explaining why she is preparing to risk spending six precious months away from her family in her fight to stay alive.

Vicky will be also talk about why she hopes this treatment will give her the time she desperately needs, how the last nine months have helped her re-evaluate life, and why our frontline workers need our support now more than ever.

Paul Reid, the CEO of the Health Service Executive, will also be sitting down with Ryan to deliver an up to the minute assessment of how our health system is coping under the impact of this latest surge in the Covid-19 pandemic and what the coming days and weeks will hold for anyone needing to access healthcare in Ireland.

Dr Colm Henry, the Chief Clinical Officer of the HSE and NPHET member, will be in studio to oversee the inoculation of six of Ireland's healthcare workers, against coronavirus with the approved vaccine.

Dr Henry will be explaining to viewers how the vaccine works and when they can expect to receive their dose in the coming months.

Wexford Hurling senior hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald  will also be chatting to Ryan about his role as coach on Ireland's Fittest Family, which returned to RTE last weekend, and his preparation for his upcoming show Davy's Toughest Team.

The 46-year-old Clare native will also be discussing how the past year has changed his perspective on hurling and family, and why recent events have led him to take a stand against online bullying.

Also among tonight's guests is  Donie O'Sullivan, the CNN journalist from Kerry who became a social media sensation for his reporting live from the US Capitol in Washington this week as supporters of outgoing president Donald Trump stormed the building.

And in music, Irish-Zimbabwean singer Lucia Evans will give a very special performance alongside the Discovery Gospel Choir .

The Late Late Show airs Friday January 8th at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
