Who is Joel Dommett in Soccer Aid 2020?

Joel Dommett will be among the celebrities representing the England team at this year's Soccer Aid.

The charity football match will air live on ITV from Old Trafford on Sunday after being pushed back from June due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Viewers will have most recently seen Joel presenting bonkers singing show The Masked Singer but you may also recognise him from elsewhere.

The 35-year-old started out as a comedian but TV roles became his thing when he joined the cast of Skins in 2010.

Fast forward a few years following stints on Impractical Jokers UK and comedy show Reality Bites, in November 2016, Dommett took part in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.

He finished in second place, losing out to Gogglebox's Scarlett Moffatt.

Joel also married Hannah Cooper at the end of last year in a small ceremony, officiated by Love Island narrator Iain Stirling, on a beach in Mykonos.

So it is likely there will rivalry on the pitch as pal Iain will form part of the World XI side.

The charity match raises money for Unicef, which helps to support the organisations vital work protecting children in the UK and globally.

This year the charity will also recognised the impact coronavirus is having around the world.

As a result, this year, every £1 donated is automatically trebled thanks to the UK Government and Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance.
