LIV Golf star Joaquin Niemann has been racking up titles for fun on the circuit, but this hasn't stopped him from making some significant changes to his team.
Previously, Niemann had been working with long-time caddie, Gary Matthews, but at LIV Golf UK in 2025 he was spotted with a new looper at JCB Golf & Country Club.

The caddie in question is Diego Salinas, who has looped for a number of players previously and was on the bag for Cristobal Del Solar's victory at The Ascendant on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Whether this is a permanent appointment remains to be seen, although Salinas is a decent golfer himself and does have experience caddying.

The 25-year-old is a close friend of Niemann's and a professional on the Chilean Golf Tour, with Salinas helping Niemann to a strong performance at the LIV Golf UK event.
In terms of Niemann's former caddie, Matthews, he teamed up with the LIV golfer in 2020, and has previously worked with Tim Clark, Sergio Garcia, Trevor Immelman, Anthony Kim, Luke Donald, Charl Schwartzel, Lydia Ko and Minjee Lee.
The pair came together after the 2020 US Open, where Niemann had Dean Elliott on the bag.
They enjoyed great success on the breakaway circuit, winning six LIV Golf titles, which makes their parting of ways somewhat surprising.
Speaking during LIV Golf UK, Niemann thanked his former caddie as well as his long-time coach Eduardo Miquel, who has also left his team.
"I'm really grateful for them... but it's part of it, and I feel like I was pretty frustrated at the beginning of this week after a bad result, obviously, at The Open as well and all the rest kind of going on."
