Jo Swinson has been elected leader of the Liberal Democrats.
The ex-minister has beat former cabinet member Sir Ed Davey to replace Sir Vince Cable in the top job for the Lib Dems with 65% of the vote - a landslide victory of 47,997 votes to be exact.
Swinson is the East Dunbartonshire MP and has served as Sir Vince's deputy since June 2017.
She joined the Liberal Democrats at the age of 17 and four years later she tried for her first Parliamentary seat in Hull East.
The 39-year-old lost and it wasn't until 2005 that she became the first Lib Dem to win her hometown seat of East Dunbartonshire.
