Who is Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and who does he play for?

The Italian side made it to the final of Euro 2020 with some stand out performances, and it always helps to have a solid keeper between the sticks - something Italy most certainly have in the form of Gianluigi Donnarumma.

He's only young, especially as goalkeepers go, but the 22-year-old shot stopper has been on a meteoric rise since he first broke onto the scene at AC Milan as a teenager.

Donnarumma, who recently signed for French giants Paris Saint-Germain, made his professional debut for AC Milan at the age of 16 (16 years and 242 days to be exact) back in 2015.

The Italy goalkeeper agreed to join PSG earlier in the summer, having become a free agent at Milan.

He was arguably one of the best players at Milan, and was the second youngest keeper to start a game in the Italian top flight.

A key part of Roberto Mancini's Italy side, the popular goalkeeper will link up with PSG team-mates and new boss Mauricio Pochettino after the Euro 2020 competition.
