Here we take a look at one name who has already been linked but you may not be familiar with - Ismail Jakobs.
Who is Ismail Jakobs?
Jakobs is a 20-year-old who can play as a left-back or left winger for Cologne in the Bundesliga.
Cologne is his hometown club and signed for them at the age of 13 in 2012.
He made his debut for the U19s at the age of 16 and was promoted to the first team at the start of this season, aged 19.
How has he done this season?
Pretty well all told.
He made his first start in the team on November 8 against Hoffenheim and has started eight of the nine games since then.
He has two goals to his name too, scoring against Eintracht Frankfurt in December and the most recent clash with Freiburg on February 2.
Jakobs also won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award for December.
What is his playing style?
As we have said he can play at left-back or in a more attacking role on the left-hand side.
He has pace and power and the official Bundesliga website likened him to Borussia Dortmund ace Achraf Hakimi.
It also appears he has a goal celebration similar to that of new Spurs signing Steve Bergwijn, if the main picture on this story is anything to go by!
