Who is in the Against The Ice cast and when is the Netflix release date?

An upcoming survival drama film written by Game of Thrones’ Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is coming to Netflix and it stars another Game of Thrones costar.

The actor shared details about creating the film with Deadline : “It combines a lot of themes that excite me: adventure, Greenland, companionship, loyalty and love. It is an intense exploration of two men, two opposites, trapped in an epic dangerous setting.”

The film is an adaptation of a posthumously published book by Danish polish explorer and writer Ejnar Mikkelsen called Two Against the Ice. It tells the story of Mikkelsen’s expedition into Greenland in 1909.

Who is in the Against The Ice cast?

Netflix’s Against the Ice will star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau ( Game of Thrones ) and Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders) who play Captain Ejnar Mikkelsen and Iver Iversen respectively.

They are joined by Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) and Heida Reed (Poldark).

The film reunites Coster-Waldau and Dance who both played father-and-son in Game of Thrones.

When is the Netflix release date?

Against the Ice will premiere on Netflix on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

The film is part of Netflix 's lineup of original movies coming out this year.

Filming for the film took place in 2020 in Greenland and Iceland.
