This year's Soccer Aid will be the first time that female footballers have played in the charity match.

And among the professional women players taking part in 2019 is Brazilian midfielder Francielle.

The 29-year-old, whose full name is Francielle Manoel Alberto, played for Brazil at the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympic Games.

She won a Silver medal in Beijing.

Playing for Santos, she won the Copa Libertadores Femenina in 2009 and also the Copa Libertadores with São José in 2013.

She most recently played for Norwegian Toppserien club Avaldsnes IL and has also turned out for Corinthians and Boston Breakers.

Francielle has played 24 times for Brazil but announced her retirement from international football in 2017.

This year's Soccer Aid takes place at Chelsea FC's Stamford Bridge, after previously being held at Manchester United's Old Trafford .

Soccer Aid co-founder Robbie Williams will be back alongside Mo Farah, former footballer Jamie Redknapp, TOWIE star Mark Wright, Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard, fitness coach Joe Wicks and F2 Football Freestyler Jeremy Lynch.

The charity match raises money for Unicef, which helps to support the organisations vital work protecting children in the UK and globally.
