Who is Ethan Boyle? Linfield's latest addition to their squad?

Linfield announced the signing of Ethan Boyle on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old has agreed terms with the Danske Bank Premiership champions and will join at the start of the January transfer window.

Age : 22

Position : Right-sided full-back/wing-back

Previous clubs: Shamrock Rovers, Finn Harps, Waterford.

How long as he signed for?

Boyle has signed an 18-month deal with the Blues.

Last season...

Boyle made 19 appearance for Shamrock Rovers as they finished second in the Airtricity League Premier Division last season. He didn't feature for the club in their FAI Cup final win over Dundalk.

Previous clubs

Boyle started off with Waterford FC where he spent two years before joining Finn Harps in February 2016. He secured a move to Shamrock Rovers in January 2018.

International honours

Boyle has played for the Republic of Ireland at Under 19 and 21 level.
