The new series of Strictly Come Dancing is now well underway and one of the person to get a 10 early on in the competition is Dev Griffin.
Dev is partnered up with Diane Buswell, who reached the final with now boyfriend Joe Sugg last year, and has been doing rather well so far.
He earned one of the highest scores of the series so far with his Couples' Choice routine to Friend Like Me from Aladdin in week 3, putting him right at the front of the pack for Strictly glory this year.
Other contestants on Strictly this year include bookies favourite Kelvin Fletcher, comedian Chris Ramsey, Eastenders actress Emma Barton and Olympian James Cracknell and TV legend Anneka Rice, who were the first two celebs to be voted out of the new series.
Who is Dev Griffin on Strictly?
Devin Joseph Jordan Griffin, or Dev as he is of course better known, was born on December 23 1984.
The 34-year-old s a British radio presenter, DJ and actor, most famous for presenting the weekend afternoon show on BBC Radio 1.
But Strictly isn't his first TV appearance, he has also appeared as a contestant on Celebrity Masterchef in 2017 and on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins on Channel 4.
Speaking about joining Strictly Come Dancing, Dev said: “I just can’t believe I’m doing Strictly, it just doesn’t feel real yet! It’s going to be so much fun, but just to be clear, I’m not doing this to take part, I’m totally in it to win it! I can’t wait to meet my partner and start practicing.”
